Position Description:
Ceribell, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a Strategic Finance Manager to join our rapidly-growing finance team. The Strategic Finance Manager's priority is to develop a deep understanding of the business and actively seek out opportunities to drive growth over the long term. This individual will be required to collaborate across all departments and will have direct exposure to the leadership team. Projects will require strategic thinking, analysis, modeling and building recommendations for senior leadership. Reporting is a critical element of the role and must be handled with extreme integrity. The ideal applicant will have a background in Investment Banking, Private Equity and/or startup strategic finance and business operations.
This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of
two
days per week.
Responsibilities:Work directly with the Chief Financial Officer and the leadership team to provide financial insights, stability, and direction for the organizationBuild financial and operational optimization models by using exploratory data analysis techniques and multiple data sourcesBuild partnerships with operational leads and cross-functional stakeholders, supporting initiatives across the organization with insights and ad-hoc analysesIdentify inefficiencies or risks in the business and proactively design processes and policies to mitigateContribute to the development, implementation, and execution of the company's strategic plan (and sometimes lead this process). Implement, track, and manage a wide range of projects related to the strategic plan.Refine and report on business KPIs; develop and utilize data-driven analytics to generate value-added insights and actionable recommendations to identify areas of business risk and opportunity as well as drive growth and organizational goalsLead ad hoc strategic projectsManage communication channels with the Board, investors, bankers, and research analystsRequirements/Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree from a top institution in a relevant field such as business or economicsExperience
3+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or management consultingPrior strategic finance or industry experience a plusKnowledge, Skills And Abilities
