Our client in the pharmaceutical industry is seeking a Procurement Manager to join their team. As a Procurement Manager, you will be part of the R&D Procurement team supporting Clinical Labs and Diagnostics. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, project management experience, and industry knowledge which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Manager, R&D Procurement - Clinical Labs and Diagnostics
Location: Hybrid - must be on site 2-3 days/week at one of the following sites: (Upper Providence, FMC Tower, Rockville)
Pay Range: $52.36hr to $61.47hr
(NO C2C, Must be a USC/Green Card Holder)
What's the Job?
Negotiate contracts with suppliers that secure favorable terms for procurement of goods and services contracts in line with the agreed business requirements
Ensure adherence to category strategies
Identify and lead contract simplification initiatives
Accountable for execution of MSAs, standalone agreements, Task Orders and Change Orders across all categories within the Clinical Labs and Diagnostics team
Lead sourcing events and data-driven negotiations to deliver on the business requirements
What's Needed?
Bachelor's Degree
3+ years of experience in Global Procurement or equivalent function
Experience developing project plans, executing contracts, and leading negotiations
Pharmaceutical, healthcare, or consumer goods industry experience
Strong oral and written communication skills
