Financial Controller
to work out in their main office in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.The Controller is responsible for overseeing and leading the entire accounting function and financial reporting for two dynamic Business Units (South Florida and Hawaii) with revenues currently totaling $1.2B and growing. This role includes strategic oversight and leadership of a 30+ person accounting team, as well as recruiting and developing top talent, and maintaining robust control systems to support the growth and operational efficiency of the business units. This is a real leadership role with real growth potential.EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial roleBachelors Degree required in Accounting, Finance or similarJob cost and revenue recognition accounting for construction companiesExperience working in fast pace rapidly growing company directlyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical and presentation skills using MS office (Excel, PP, Word)
