As part of a diverse and hardworking team of engineers, technicians, and specialists, you will report to the Environmental Control and Life Support (ECLS) IPT Manager and directly support integrated product team execution. The project management and technical integration products developed support the MK2 lander vehicle in its mission to safely deliver unprecedented crew to surface capabilities. This position will support all aspects of integrated product team management to include accountability and oversight of cost, schedule, technical design, risk management, and organization management. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and attention towards safe and reliable spaceflight. You will work directly with NASA and our National Team Partners as part of the Human Landing System (HLS) Sustaining Lunar Development (SLD) program. You will play a key role in developing the Lunar Transportation system that will return humans to the Moon and extend human presence permanently beyond the bounds of Earth. Responsibilities Responsible for leading engineering operations activities and project management for the Environmental Control and Life Support IPT Communicate and support execution of the vision, strategic goals, priorities, execution requirements, and performance across the IPT as delegated by the IPT Manager Support day-to-day coordination, integration, and execution for the planning, development, implementation, and closeout of all IPT milestones, products, and deliverables Apply expertise in project management, technical product maturation, and organization development to ensure the most expeditious and cost-effective implementation approach and solutions for the IPT Develop and maintain IPT technical, cost, and schedule baselines Prepare for and execute IPT reviews Help develop and maintain the MK2 vehicle meeting and review operating rhythm Mentor and enable engineers in project management and agile methodology Support the IPT Manager to recruit, hire, manage, and mentor a diverse, equitable, and inclusive team including support in managing demand signals Develop robust plans meeting deliverables and manage to the key operating metrics - including technical, cost, schedule, and risk Support creation of product roadmaps, including development and incorporation of technologies to meet program milestones including future derivatives Monitor technical progress, requirements, budget, schedule, deliverables, and risks as well as review recommendations for change with IPT Manager Communicate progress to leadership team via program management reviews weekly/monthly, finance reviews, long term forecasting business plan, and project deep dives Maintain strong relationships with supporting teams in coordinating people and resources Utilize good engineering and business judgeme
