If you're looking to grow your technical career within an extremely reputable, stable Fortune 100 company - let's talk!JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for maintaining and continuously improving assembly processes and systems used in the manufacturing of product driving zero defects across assembly areas.Provide application, procurement, processing, installation, capability of new Assembly processes and equipment to build Transmissions/Torque converters safely/efficiently as assigned.Responsible for developing and maintaining Standard work- Capp+/MESA, SAP(VPPA), PINpoint and SFMEA's.Manage BOM/MBM system grief within Capp+ to ensure system alignment and requirements for local controls.Manage line requirements for PFMEA's/Control plans, implement engineering changes, maintain PINPOINT / DC torque tooling processes, manage NPI/CPI programs, including pilot builds and continually works with Assembly/EHS team in reducing risk within assembly areas.Coordinate, plan, monitor, and report activities associated with the station layouts, time studies, and design implementation of complex manufacturing assembly flow lines in assigned areas.Engage in creative problem solving to address operational issues including Ergonomic/Safety, efficiency improvements, quality requirements and understanding and ability to implement In Process Validation(IPV's).Assist in developing/managing assembly capital projects and expense requirements.Work with internal and external suppliers to develop and manage projects to ensure efficient and cost-effective systems and processes to produce quality products.Work with tool design to develop complex/intricate jigs and fixtures to meet customer needs.Train assemblers as required for assembly process requirements.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent degree.3-10 years of assembly work-related experience.REQUIRED SKILLS:Team Center, CREO, and Tool Design experience.Thorough knowledge of assembly manufacturing concepts.Ability to troubleshoot PLC Ladder Logic and integrate with assembly systems.Previous experience within SAP/VPPA, PINpoint, DC tooling integration, MESA, Capp+.SOFT SKILLS REQUIRED:Good written and oral communication skills.Benefits:401(k)Dental insuranceVision InsuranceDisability insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offPaid HolidaysPlease follow the link to our website for a list of job openings in Engineering, IT, Project Management, and more!
