THIS IS A CRITICAL CARE FLOAT POOL POSITION – PEDIATRIC ICU EXPERIENCE REQUIREDTraveler must be willing to get flu shot when requestedWill care for all age ranges and levels of acuityExperience: Ventilators, trachs, multiple monitoring skills, specifically CVP and EKGPatient Population: High acuity unit seeing injury, respiratory failure, shock, multi-system failure, poisonings, near drowning, meningitis, post-op cardiac surgical careJob Requirements

CA LicenseFirst to float to other units outside of the critical care units, including EDBLSPALS2 full recent years of Pediatric ICU experience (PICU, CTICU, CRITICAL CARE FLOAT POOL)Schedule Information

3x12 variable or straight night4-5 weekend shifts sat-sun on day shift and then 5-6 shifts of fri-sat nights – traveler gets off one full weekend every 4-week schedule13-week contractsRequested Time Off: Max 6 days (Must still get 3 shifts in per week)Must be willing to work Christmas and New Year holidayUnit Specific Information

*For travelers with PICU experience - 15-bed minimum and higher acuity of care across ALL PICU/ICU areasFingernail Hygiene Policy - employee must sign prior to start.Additional Details

Valid photo ID is required. Must have front and back copies. Traveler must present on their first day.Acknowledgement of Pass/Fail Testing is required for ALL RNs (except Case Managers)Orientation Information - sent out on the Thursday before a Monday start.
