The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all purchasing activities, ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing process. This is a permanent, full-time position that requires a dedicated professional with a strong background in procurement, order entry, invoicing, and reporting. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, exceptional negotiation skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:1. Manage all purchasing activities including price negotiation, quote analysis, order entry, and invoicing.2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of products.3. Prepare, maintain, and review purchasing files, reports, and price lists.4. Collaborate with the production team to forecast needs and manage inventory levels.5. Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational requirements and expectation.6. Regularly review and analyze purchasing trends and price trends to identify forecasting demand and minimize purchasing costs.7. Provide office support including data entry, filing, and other administrative tasks as needed.8. Work closely with the finance department to ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices, as well as proper recording and control.Qualifications:1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a purchasing role within the manufacturing industry.2. Proven experience with price negotiation, quote analysis, order entry, invoicing, and reporting.3. Strong knowledge of supply chain and procurement processes and principles.4. Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.5. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with purchasing software.7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.10.
