As part of our commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences, we are seeking a dynamic Director of Sales to lead and grow our sales efforts, enhance brand visibility, and drive revenue.
Position Summary:
The Director of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to maximize occupancy, revenue, and guest satisfaction at The Warrior Hotel. This role requires an experienced sales leader who is adept at building and maintaining relationships with clients, developing key market segments, and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality sales, leadership, and team development.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth across all market segments.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and event organizers.
Collaborate closely with the General Manager, marketing team, and other departments to align sales initiatives with hotel goals.
Lead and mentor the sales team, setting clear objectives and providing guidance for achievement.
Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and local demand to identify business opportunities and optimize pricing strategies.
Create and manage budgets, forecasts, and reports to track progress and support decision-making.
Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote The Warrior Hotel and build client relationships.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record of achieving revenue goals and growing market share.
Strong knowledge of the Sioux City market and regional business landscape.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proficiency in sales software and CRM systems.
