Sr. Associate, Advisory & Communications
to join our Insurance and Alternative Solutions (IAS) team at Revantage. IAS is experiencing significant growth and increasing sophistication as it enhances its capabilities to support Blackstone and their portfolio companies. The Sr. Associate, Advisory & Communications will play a critical role in supporting our strategic projects and cross-functional initiatives. In this role, you will understand key business challenges and develop fact-based analyses, including data models, to support succinct recommendations. You will also work in close collaboration with cross-functional teams within IAS to synthesize insights and create executive presentations to support Blackstone and portfolio company communications. This position requires strong analytical skills and excellent communication/interpersonal skills. The successful candidate must be highly self-motivated, comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, and able to build strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. We anticipate this role to forge trust-based relationships and work with Revantage, Blackstone, and other portfolio companies, as well as with various external stakeholder groups (including Carriers, Brokers, and Vendors), depending on the requirements of the work. This position is based out of Revantage’s office in Dallas, TX. Responsibilities: Drive strategic projects and initiatives while analyzing market trends, customer needs, and conducting scenario planning Support the translation of identified operating model improvements (e.g., process changes, technology changes) into business cases, roadmaps, and projects/tasks; work with department resources, technology resources to implement changes Create the communication materials for key external and internal business discussions, including with portfolio companies, Blackstone executives, and other Revantage stakeholders Develop storyboards and analytical frameworks, synthesize findings and identify key insights from analysis of data and qualitative insights Demonstrate discretion and professionalism when working with the leadership team on sensitive business and organizational issues, manage ambiguity, and propose workable solutions to challenging problems Deliver ad hoc projects and maximize IAS leadership team effectiveness by helping balance priorities, communicate effectively, participate in relevant meetings, and connect with stakeholders Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, finance, or technology with a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience Demonstrated success and experience in Management/Strategy Consulting, Corporate Strategy or Business Transformation, Corporate Finance or Investment Banking Ability to think creatively and outside the box to simplify complex information from diverse sources (financial statements, historical information, industry reports) into easy-to-understand concepts and updates for senior management Expert verbal and written communication skills and experience in designing, socializing, and finalizing executive presentations Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated aptitude for data analyses and process improvement Ability to thrive in a fast-changing environment and ambiguous situations; flexible and adaptable; willing to go the extra mile Ability to travel 5-10% domestically.
