You will lead a team of solutions marketers to fuel go-to-market efforts with messaging and resources that elevate our brand value, improve executive engagement, drive pipeline and support sales productivity. Reporting to the Senior Director, Content and Solutions Marketing, you will collaborate closely with our content marketing, communications, global events, product marketing, sales and enablement teams.What you'll get to doEvolve our corporate point of view and message, inclusive of state of the world, customer challenges and Splunk’s unique outcomes.Drive high-value executive engagement with thought leadership POVs, including working hand-in-hand with content marketing and strategic advisors to craft strategic downstream assets and enablement.Collaborate with sales leaders and enablement team to ensure our top-level stories directly lead to accelerated and higher-value sales processes. Develop and own critical sales tools.Partner with content marketing, communications, global events and product marketing to be the connective tissue across our corporate narrative and programs.Own world-class keynotes for internal and external events by driving key messages, slide content and speaker prep.Understand broad market trends and challenges faced by Splunk customers and prospects, as well as the implications for security and observability and how Splunk’s portfolio solves those challenges.Guide and coach a team of high-performing solutions marketers.Must-have Qualifications10+ years of experience, with proven experience creating corporate messaging and positioning in B2B context. MBA and SaaS experience preferred.5+ years of experience of people management experience.Ability to translate technical products into use cases and business value, creating new messages and content that help to win strategic deals. Relevant experience in security or observability solutions preferred.Experience selling / marketing to / influencing executives. Strong understanding of the business environment and what keeps executives up at night.Proven results and experience scaling, developing, and managing teams of people and helping to build culture in a fast-paced environment.Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and thrive amid ambiguity, with a “make it happen” attitude. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate.
