They will also support sales teams in product promotion efforts and collaborate closely with development and product applications engineers.RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop an extensive knowledge of the company’s cellular product portfolio, providing world-class applications support to our customers.Provide technical applications support to both customers evaluating our products as well as internal sales personnel.Assist sales and marketing in preparation of technical proposals/presentations.Complete hands-on lab work to identify and resolve issues as well as tuning to optimize products on reference designs and handsets (RF front-end).Develop close relationship with customer and coordinate activities with sales team.Travel for on-site support, assisting customers in optimizing their solutions.QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering; Masters preferred and 5+ years’ experience.Previous design and development experience in RF/handset communications (GSM/WCDMA/CDMA/LTE/5G).Good RF system knowledge and understanding of relevant uplink/downlink ETSI/3GPP RF specifications.Experience in automated test systems.Proficiency in the use of RF measurement equipment such as R&S CMW500, network- and spectrum analyzer, signal generator, oscilloscope.Proficiency in data analysis and ability to summarize in presentations.Experience in one or more of the following: Power Amplifier, LNA, RF filter/switch, Power Management IC experience.Experience designing PCB boards utilizing RF best practices is preferred.Knowledge of how to test Products in all modes according to customer requirements.Demonstrate good trouble shooting skills at PA level and test set-up.Basic understanding of software/programming language(s).Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.Solid customer-facing skills with demonstrated success in resolving customer technical issues.Strong team orientation with ability to work effectively in geographically distributed teams.Self-motivated and able to work autonomously.Ability and willingness to travel.This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship by the Company.MAKE A DIFFERENCE AT QORVOWe are Qorvo.
