The Role
This role will demand interaction with large scale enterprises at the CISO and CIO level, as well as with technical staff within the security and messaging organization. This individual will also work well with their team of sales engineers, as well as with partners and leverage the power of corporate resources within their account base.
Responsibilities
Establish strong business relationships at the executive level.
Advanced solution selling capabilities.
Conduct sales presentations.
Coordinate multiple resources within an account while consistently closing business for Proofpoint.
Build a strong business pipeline, accurately forecast and close business.
Strong interpersonal and presentational skills.
Your day-to-day
You will focus on hunting and developing new Proofpoint accounts in the Enterprise Sector for North Australia.
Coordinate and deliver compelling portfolio presentations.
Work with System Engineers and product specialists to prepare account strategies and plans.
Partner with marketing and the channel to gain access into new accounts.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Proofpoint’s competitive positioning in the marketplace.
What you bring to the team
Minimum 2-4 years Sales experience generating net new business.
Demonstrated consistent 100%+ Quota Attainment and President Club attendance across multiple years/roles.
Proven experience selling a complex multi-product architecture to Enterprise organizations.
Experience managing an entire sales cycle from start to finish.
Minimum 1-2 years Cold Calling experience.
Technical aptitude and ability to learn new business and technical concepts quickly.
Competitive nature, but also a collaborative team player.
Strong presentation skills, both in person and via virtual channels.
