Minimum QualificationsThe minimum qualifications for a Store Manager are:
High School diploma or GED preferred.
Experience in retail sales preferred.
Ability to supervise and train for the use of equipment, tools, and materials.
Ability to use a computer and perform analysis of reports, inventory control, cash control, etc.
A valid driver’s license and adequate transportation to/from bank and corporate management meetings.
Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) in English.
Perform other duties as assigned or delegated by the supervisor.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND SKILLSLeadership and Management
Recruit, hire and train positive, enthusiastic employees.
Manage tasks to ensure the site is clean, stocked, organized, and well-kept.
Maintain a professional and supportive image among subordinates and supervisors.
Schedule employees to maximize customer service and maintain site image.
Implement non-discriminatory management skills during hiring, training, and counseling.
Site Relationships
Develop positive relationships with suppliers.
Resolve customer complaints in a timely, professional manner.
Promote a safe, positive public image within the community.
Training and Development
Prepare performance appraisals for all employees.
Train employees on customer service and safety procedures.
Communication
Ensure all employees receive timely communication.
Establish periodic communication meetings with all site employees.
Organizing and Planning
Evaluate and develop action plans for site needs.
Organize and maintain site files and manuals.
Ensure reports are completed accurately and timely.
Manage merchandise to ensure it is stocked and displayed correctly.
Financial
Analyze daily sales and expense information.
Budget and forecast P&L lines.
Safeguard and account for all money received and disbursed.
Working Conditions
Work indoors but may require outdoor tasks.
Be exposed to occasional cold temperature extremes.
Work with minimal direction and supervision.
