Minimum QualificationsThe minimum qualifications for a Store Manager are:
High School diploma or GED preferred.
Experience in retail sales preferred.
Ability to supervise and train for the use of equipment, tools, and materials.
Ability to use a computer, including analysis of reports, inventory control, and cash control.
A valid driver’s license and adequate transportation to/from bank and corporate management meetings.
Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) in English.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND SKILLSLeadership and Management
Recruit, hire, and train positive, enthusiastic employees.
Develop and manage tasks to ensure the site is clean, stocked, and organized.
Maintain a professional image among subordinates and supervisors.
Schedule employees within Company guidelines.
Implement non-discriminatory management skills.
Site Relationships
Develop positive relationships with suppliers.
Resolve customer complaints professionally.
Promote a safe, positive public image within the community.
Training and Development
Prepare timely performance appraisals for employees.
Train employees on customer service and safety procedures.
Communication
Ensure all employees receive timely communication.
Establish ongoing communication meetings with employees.
Organizing and Planning
Evaluate and develop action plans for site needs.
Organize and maintain site files and manuals.
Ensure required reports are completed accurately and timely.
Ensure merchandise is stocked and displayed correctly.
Financial
Analyze daily sales and expense information.
Budget and forecast P&L lines.
Safeguard and account for money received and disbursed.
Working Conditions
Work primarily indoors but may need to work outside.
Be exposed to occasional cold temperatures and noise.
Work with minimal direction and supervision.
