This professional will assume the responsibilities detailed below.ResponsibilitiesLead planning and development activities for stormwater pollution prevention programs (construction stormwater and municipal separate stormwater sewer systems), watershed and natural resource management plans, and environmental documents (e.g., environmental assessment worksheets, categorial exclusions, environmental impact statements).Design, coordinate, and lead stakeholder outreach and engagement activities in support of developing consensus-based products.Design and manage clear, practical plans to execute stakeholder outreach and engagement projects in accordance with approved work plans.Manage projects to client and project partners’ specified scope, schedule, budget, and expectations.Support identifying and managing client and partner relationships.Research and interpret local, state, and national environmental, water, and other natural resources regulations for projects, programs, and initiatives.Assist with designing and implementing the annual internship experience; and mentoring new team members and interns.Create clear research and consensus-based products.QualificationsBachelor of Science in hydrology, environmental science, water resources management, civil engineering, environmental engineering, or a related field.Minimum of five years of relevant experience.University of Minnesota certification for Design of Construction Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan or Construction Site Management or the ability to obtain one of those certifications within six months of employment.Strong organizational skills with the proven ability to manage teams and multiple competing deadlines while paying attention to detail.Knowledge and understanding of local, state, and national environmental, water, and other natural resources regulations.Knowledge of hydrologic, hydraulic, and water quality modeling software, such as HydroCAD, P8, HEC-RAS, and XP/EPA SWMM (or other modeling software).Proficient knowledge of ArcGIS and Microsoft Office products suite (e.g., SharePoint, OneNote, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Excellent informal and formal technical and plain-language writing skills.Job Type:
Full-timeCompensation and Benefits:
$75,000–$125,000 (depending on qualifications) salary, flexible schedule, paid time off, nine paid holidays, retirement benefits (401k match), and health benefits (medical, dental, vision and health savings account).Location—Hybrid:
