Ibotta is looking for a
Product Manager, Finance
to join our innovative team and contribute to our mission to Make Every Purchase Rewarding. As a member of our RaaS (Rewards as a Service) Product organization, you will partner closely with cross-functional leaders to identify new areas of opportunity to define, evangelize and execute a product roadmap that achieves valuable outcomes in our Finance space. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth cashout experiences for Ibotta’s customers maximizing overall confidence in our financial data. Additionally, this individual will interface externally with publisher partners to understand their requirements to further evolve your roadmap, influence others, and lead Ibotta execution as we bring new Partners to market.
This position is located in Denver, Colorado as a hybrid position requiring 3 days in office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Candidates must live in the United States, with Denver metro residency preferred.
What you will be doing:
Working with 1-2 engineering squads to develop valuable financial products for the Ibotta Performance Network and Ibotta’s consumer productsPartnering with Ibotta’s Information Security and Fraud teams to combat financial fraud within Ibotta’s suite of products and servicesSupporting Ibotta’s front-end product teams to unlock best-in-class financial UX via API-driven financial infrastructureBuilding credible partnerships with leaders across the company from engineering to sales and finance, in order to identify investment opportunities within the Finance spaceAchieve buy-in and increased investment for Finance initiatives through business cases and executive presentationsBuilding the domain roadmap and its execution for Ibotta’s Finance spaceDeveloping a first-hand understanding of Ibotta, publisher-partner and advertiser-client financial reporting goalsRegularly communicating with group leaders and executive stakeholders regarding your squad’s execution, roadmap and opportunities under considerationEmbracing and upholding Ibotta’s Core Values: Integrity, Boldness, Ownership, Teamwork, Transparency & A good idea can come from anywhereWhat we are looking for:
3+ years of product management experience launching successful API products and other B2B/B2B2C experiencesProduct management experience that includes working on full-stack financial productsBA/BS in CS/Engineering, Economics/Physics/Math, or a related field is requiredAbility to leverage extensive and robust data to inform swift, high-quality decisions; but also prioritize progress over perfection and remain decisive when faced with a lack of dataA track record of building and delivering high quality products and experiences on-time with high quality, measured results, and positive outcomesExpertise in telling a meaningful, engaging story regarding the team’s work and how it furthers business objectivesExcellent communication skills across all mediums (visual, written, verbal) that build stakeholder coalitions and reinforce your decisions with focus and brevityDemonstrated ability to consistently experiment with iterative product development methods to maximize your team’s performanceAn eagerness to challenge conventional thought with an ego-free embrace of vigorous debate, and conviction that it’s better to be aligned than rightA strategic lens to say no to good ideas so we can focus on the few, truly great onesInstinctually work to fully understand, and deliver solutions on, what our customers really need rather than building what they say they wantAbout Ibotta:Ibotta (NYSE: IBTA) is a leading performance marketing platform allowing brands to deliver digital promotions to over 200 million consumers through a network of publishers called the Ibotta Performance Network (IPN). Additional Details:This position is located in Denver, CO and includes competitive pay, flexible time off, benefits package (including medical, dental, vision), Lifestyle Spending Account, Employee Stock Purchase Program, and 401k match. Denver office perks include paid parking, bagel Thursdays, snacks and occasional meals.Base compensation range: $90,000 - $120,000. Total compensation for this role also includes a variable component in addition to base salary. Equity is included in overall compensation package.
