Act as a liaison between accounts and Atlantis, The Reef and The Cove Atlantis. Coordinate and communicate all sales and marketing efforts to assigned accounts. Responsible for account/market growth and assist the National Sales Managers in achieving departmental goals.Key Responsibilities:Sales:Create sales strategy based on market trends in alignment with hotel’s revenue strategy.Prepare and execute sales and marketing plans and annual budget in conjunction with Vice President of Leisure.Manage all Transient – Leisure FIT, and Consortia Accounts.Develop and increase both segments, positioning an upscale luxury brand hotel through all incentive houses: Signature, Virtuoso, AMEX THC, FHR, Ensemble, and Travel Leaders Select.Identify, solicit and develop existing and new accounts.Represent company in designated events (e.g., Trade Shows, Product Launches).Continuous updates to CRM with agency information sales call updates.Travel as designated to conduct sales presentations.Develop and monitor action plans to designated accounts in order to meet departmental goals.Coordinate potential and existing educational familiarization inspection trips to Atlantis, The Cove & The Reef.Coordinate incentive programs with designated accounts as needed.Act as a liaison between the Company and the client and serve as the spokesperson on behalf of the company.Provide training for Consortia programs as needed.Respond to all requests for proposals (RFPs).Marketing:Negotiate cooperative marketing programs and work closely with Brand Communications in ensuring brand integrity with assigned account’s channels of distribution.Participate in Travel Industry events and trade shows to promote hotel. Conduct client events, host and create full agenda for FAMs and site inspections on property to prospect and existing clients, press and CVBs representatives (e.g., ILTM, LE Miami, Signature Travel Network).Administration:Communicate contractual and promotional rate information to assigned accounts.Provide ongoing support/account maintenance including inventory and billing issues.Ensure internal and hotel departments understand issues related to assigned accounts.Develop action plans and coordinate with the Leisure Sales Coordinator on behalf of Retail.Coordinate and update departmental reports as designated.Support the Vice President of Leisure Sales.Develop and implement Quality Assurance (QA) and standard operating procedures (SOP) for reservations, accounting, front desk departments regarding FIT/Consortia/AMEXTHC bookings, VIP amenities, and payment procedures.Manage and analyze revenue reports and strategies, distribution channels and extranet systems.Position Requirements:Ability to read and enter data into a computer.Excellent verbal/written communication skills.Ability to handle multiple tasks.Ability to travel up to 50 percent of the time to include international destinations.Experience with high-net-worth individuals and/or VIP clientele and/or representatives.Strong background in all aspects of leisure sales and comprehensive knowledge of consortia and boutique travel agency partners.Minimum of five (5) years hotel sales experience or in a similar position.Ability to manage others.
