Job Summary
As an Accountant, you are responsible for calculating and preparing monthly sales tax returns, maintaining fixed assets and vehicle records, reconciling various sub-ledgers and general ledger accounts, preparing journal entries in accordance with company policy, and preparing and maintaining various reports for management.Company Overview

Prepare Monthly Sales and Use Tax Returns: Ensure timely and accurate filing for all state and local jurisdictions.
Maintain Fixed Assets System: Oversee the fixed assets system and prepare monthly depreciation journal entries.Ensure Accurate Account Balances: Regularly verify account balances to maintain financial integrity.Review Corporate Card Reconciliations: Assess individual corporate card reconciliations for completeness, accuracy, and proper handling of sales tax.Record Monthly Corporate Credit Card Journal Entries: Accurately document transactions related to corporate credit cards.Conduct Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Perform reconciliations as assigned, ensuring timely identification and resolution of variances.Assist in Monthly Close Process: Collaborate with the accounting team to facilitate the monthly financial close.Provide Audit Support: Compile necessary documentation and detail for annual audits and special engagements as required.Perform Other Duties as Assigned: Carry out additional tasks as directed by management to support departmental objectives.Minimum Requirements
2-5 years of accounting experience preferredCPA preferredBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferredProven experience as an Accountant or a similar role.Experience in calculating and reporting sales tax returns.Proficiency in Excel.Technical knowledge of accounting regulations, policies and procedures.TDIndustries is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
