The selected candidate's leadership assignment within the Data & Technology area of P & C Analytics will depend on which team the candidate's skills and experiences align most closely to.P&C Analytics in Financial Operations is looking to hire a data analyst to focus on technical data support which includes:Follow structured and well-documented coding techniques.Extract, transform, and load data for reports and analytics solutions.Utilize coding skills (e.g., SQL, Python, Qlik, Dax) for data management, transformation, and analysis.Successfully execute recurring reporting tasks, including building, automating, troubleshooting, and maintenance.Build and modify technical data analytic solutions to meet project requirements, including design, coding, testing, and implementation.Create and maintain automated data assets and deliverables for reports and analytics.Analyze data effectively and collaborate with business clients to maintain report viability.Work closely with various levels of leadership.Be available outside of standard work hours when required.Desired Skills
Experience with AWS Console, Starburst, Dbeaver, Athena, Python, S3, and Redshift.Experience developing relational conformed data assets.Power User on at least one BI tool: QlikSense, Power BI, or QuickSight.Ability to develop and support low code Power App solutions.Ability to work effectively in a high-paced environment.Demonstrated learning agility to quickly acquire and apply new technical skills and business acumen.Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and deliver results within tight deadlines.Demonstrated ability to use statistical methods to analyze data and provide valuable insights.Demonstrated ability to translate technical concepts into non-technical terms for effective communication.Demonstrated ability to think critically and provide innovative solutions to improve operational reporting processes.Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills to identify and resolve complex data-related issues.Meticulous attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and reliability.Nice to have: Experience with operations [associate productivity and staff forecasting] and/or company performance analysis and reporting for an insurance company.Qualifications
A self-starter with a natural curiosity to explore data, ask insightful questions, and stay updated with the latest tools, techniques, and trends in data analysis.Bachelor's degree in relevant field.Nice to have - Master's degree (completed or in progress) in relevant field.Nice to have - Technical certifications in relevant skill sets desired.Applicants are required to be eligible to lawfully work in the U.S. immediately; employer will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work authorization (e.g., H-1B visa) for this opportunity.
