Data Warehouse Analyst
to support one of our State Agency customers.Job Duties and Responsibilities:Assist with data management tasks for HIV testing data weekly as directed by the Department.Produce and submit data reports related to quality improvement or technical assistance visits every week as directed by the Department.Maintain current SQL Server integration packages deployed in production daily.Maintain and support the Department’s HIV/AIDS Data warehouse and other SQL Server Databases daily as directed by the Department.Develop new SQL server integration packages as needed for Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) daily as directed by the Department.Collaborate with the Department’s Division of Disease Control and Health Protection (DCHP) information technology teams; design, develop, and code based on business requirements for the DCHP Master Person Index (MPUI) project as part of the overall strategic effort for integration and interoperability of its systems and software daily as directed by the Department.Work with DCHP resources to standardize the collection and storage of DCHP-shared data daily as directed by the Department.Implement and submit DCHP SQL Server database standards on the Department’s HIV/AIDS databases as directed by the Department.Monitor and optimize the existing Data Exchange Interfaces, including SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), or any other Department HIV/AIDS systems daily as directed by the Department.Perform database administration tasks for the Department’s HIV/AIDS databases as per Department policies and procedures daily as directed by the Department.QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:5+ years of MS SQL Server Administration experience5+ years of MS SQL Server Integration Services experience5+ years of MS SQL Stored procedures, triggers, scheduling, and performance tuning5+ years of experience with MS SQL Server 2008 or later version5+ years of experience with Business Intelligence Development Studio or Visual Studio for package(s) development5+ years of experience with SQL programming inclusive of stored procedures, functions, triggers, Data Transformation Service (DTS) packages, scheduled jobs, and linked servers.5+ years of experience with SQL relational databases, Online Transactional Processing (OLTP), and Decision Support Systems (DSS)5+ years of experience importing data into a large-scale data warehouse environment utilizing SQL Server Integration Services or Data Import functionality5+ years of experience with Source Control systems such as Visual Studio Team Services or Team Foundation Server5+ years of experience with software build and release management methodologiesEducation:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.Certification:
DevOps certified with 5 years of experience in HIV Surveillance, Budget, and Case Management systems.Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience.Position can be remote, but requires candidate to be onsite for meetings and presentations on select days.Job Type:
