Tecolote is hiring a DoD Space Subject Matter Expert with a minimum Top-Secret Clearance to support the Space Systems Command, Assured Access to Space organization. The candidate will directly support the Assured Access to Space Program Executive Officer and SLD 30 leadership by providing strategic vision, analysis, and recommendations to address the rapidly changing Space Force and Assured Access to Space requirements.Responsibilities
Analyze the current organizational structures, to include decision-making relationships, across the enterprise, to include staff agencies, program directors, functional directors, acquisition deltas, and other relevant Space Force and Air Force organizations.Analyze executive-level budget and execution decision-making and management processes and relationships across the portfolio.Analyze executive-level manpower management processes, to include functional/skill-set manpower management and supervisory relationships across the AATS enterprise.Identify roadblocks, mitigation strategies, and changes needed to evolve the organizational structure to support the evolving Space Force vision.Identify technology tools and digital environment needs that will aide in effective transformation to implement the AATS strategic vision.Skills Required
Minimum of 20 years of Space Launch & Operations experience in the National Security Space environment.Launch and Range acquisition and operations experience is highly desired.Proficient in the use of MS Office applications, i.e., MS Outlook, MS Teams, Zoom.gov, Task Management Tool (TMT), Project, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Excel.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and quantitative analytical skills.Applicant must be able to work in a team environment.Strong knowledge of the DoD protocol, acquisition, operational, and program management processes and policies.Master’s degree in math, Business/Economics, finance, accounting, engineering, or statistics, PMT401/402 or equivalent highly desired.Salary Range: $135,000 - $145,000/year, DOEEducation
