This role can be performed in Lafayette, LA.Your future duties and responsibilities
Articulate clear business objectives aligned to technical specifications and work in an iterative, agile pattern daily.Write referenceable & modular code and have experience in all the phases of SDLC.Show ownership over work tasks, and embrace interacting with all levels of the team and raise challenges when necessary.Required qualifications to be successful in this role
3+ years of hands-on experience in any programming language like: C, C++, Java, Scala, Python. (Python is preferred)2+ years in Web development frameworks like React, Angular, other Node.js based systems, Django, React-native, etc.2+ years being part of Agile teams - Scrum or Kanban.2+ years of scripting (Python, Shell etc.).2+ years of database - SQL, application server.Experience with GitHub/Jenkins.Fluent in BDD and TDD development methodologies.Experience of AWS cloud technologies, terraform, CloudFormation is a plus.Hands-on experience developing or using CI/CD solutions for application.Excellent troubleshooting skills.Strong communication skills.Be inquisitive, analytical, and investigative, all while keeping customer in mind.Be a planner - time management and the ability to see around the corner is essential.Take ownership and accountability and have a desire to simplify, automate.Have a quality mindset, not just code quality but also to ensure ongoing data quality by monitoring data to identify problems before they have business impact.CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to: skills level; experience and training; and licensure and certifications. CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role.
