Your Role Will Involve:
Deepening University Relationships: Actively collaborate with various departments and groups within the University of Chicago to create synergies that enhance both student and guest experiences.Crafting and executing sales strategies to capture new business opportunities but also leverage our unique position within the university community. Engaging with clients through appointments, showcasing our top-tier services and products.Building and maintaining strong community relations to expand our customer base. Collaboratively working towards meeting our financial goals through thoughtful rate negotiations.Keeping the pulse on market trends, ensuring our offerings remain competitive and compelling.
What We're Looking For:
Experience : A solid background in Hotel Sales, especially in business travel or university markets, with at least 2 years in a full-service setting and a proven track record of building relationships with educational institutions.Communication Skills : Exceptional ability to negotiate, influence, and persuade through both verbal and written mediums.Leadership : A vibrant, creative leader who is adept at multitasking and thriving under pressure.Tech-Savvy : Proficiency in Sales and Catering software (e.g., Delphi), hotel management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
