Calibration Quality Manager at Palen Kimball Calibration
Shift:
Monday
Fridays 8am-4:30pm (Some Saturdays dependent on client/job site)
Salary:
$35-50 hourly
Location:
Twin Cities, Minneapolis (some travel maybe required)
Requirements:
You
must
be 18 years old.
You
must
be able to pass a drug test.
You
must
be able to pass a motor vehicle history check.
For safety reasons, you
must
be able to speak English.
A pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check are required.
Able to lift up to 30lbs.
3-5 years of experience in calibration
PMEL/Military experience desirable
Knowledge and experience with Electrical, Physical, and Mechanical Calibration of equipment such as Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, Hipot Testers, Temperature and Humidity Controllers, Pressure Gauges and Dimensional Equipment
Job Duties:
As you might expect, technical work and customer service is at the heart of what your job will entail. For the most part, youll be:
Responsible for quality, both onsite & in the lab
Responsible for uncertainty budgets & uncertainties
Perform internal audits with responsibility for outcome & corrections
Responsible for external audits of sub-contractors
Understanding & ownership of the SOP, quality manuals, matrixes & approved vendors
Manage out of tolerance reports & reverse traceabilitys
Oversee quality of work performed by technicians & metrologists
Able to perform & understand industry calculations in the field and lab, assisting as needed to ensure the work is completed in a timely manor
Perform in-place calibrations and lift heavy equipment (50 lbs.) as required e.g., May be required to perform repeated lifting and considerable walking or standing)
Works with customers, technicians, and management to achieve excellent final product service results which comply with Quality Management System and customer requirements.
Self-sufficient, working with little or no supervision and assume responsibilities as required
Attention to detail required along with capacity to update existing uncertainty budgets, scopes, standards & process & procedures for accreditation
