ACLS, BLS, NIHSSRNs required to titrate dripsCommon titratable &/or set rate drips: Heparin, octreotide, insulin, maintenance dosages of IV meds (non-titratable)RN experience in high flow unit with frequent admissions, transfers, and discharges is preferred.Positive attitude and willingness to work as a team.Schedule Information
Shifts & Scheduling: 0630-1900, 1830-0700 / 6 week schedulingWeekend Requirements: Every other weekendHoliday Requirements: Will rotate with perm staffHow many shifts of unit/department specific orientation: First week is classroom orientation, then 2- 12 hour shiftsUnit Specific Information
Nurse to patient ratio: 1:04Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Adults, generally patients that arrive through the ER, Mixed Medical/Surgical along with cardiac and stroke patientsSpecialty Equipment Available: Code Carts, LUCAS Machines, hoyer lift, Sit and StandFloating Requirements: Med/Surg and to all areas in the hospital, depending on abilities, including ICU/ED for appropriate types of patient careScrub Color/Dress code: Navy BlueAdditional Details
Looking for positive nurses willing to work with others as a team to overcome challengesHaving a unit secretary 2-3 days/week and a stocking clerk 3 days/weekRadius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
