Senior Angular Developer (12 Month Contract)

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Angular Developer to lead the development of high-quality, de-coupled front-end application modernization project. The primary focus of this role will be on leveraging Angular to build dynamic, responsive, and user-friendly applications that integrate seamlessly with back-end services. A solid understanding of service architecture and experience with .NET or similar technologies is a plus, as you will work closely with back-end teams to ensure a cohesive application structure.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain complex front-end applications using Angular (latest versions).
Implement reusable, scalable components and ensure modularity in application design.
Integrate Angular front-end with back-end services, ensuring seamless data flow.
Work alongside cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Ensure high-quality code and performance through code reviews and testing.
Maintain and enhance application architecture in alignment with best practices for decoupled systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues and bugs promptly.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in front-end development, with at least 3+ years working extensively with Angular.
Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Strong experience in designing and building scalable, decoupled front-end solutions.
Understanding of RESTful APIs and service-oriented architecture.
Familiarity with .NET (C#) or equivalent back-end frameworks, with a willingness to collaborate closely with back-end developers.
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of best practices for front-end security, accessibility, and performance.
Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and Agile methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with full-stack development, especially in .NET, is a plus.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, particularly GithHub actions and containerized environments
Previous experience in mentoring junior developers and conducting code reviews.
Location: Prefer candidate in the DC Metro Area. May need to work on site once or twice a month. Will consider fully remote candidates
