Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Workday Integration Engineer to join a top global consulting firm. This firm delivers solutions through innovative management consulting, technology, and corporate & digital ventures. The engineer will be joining a global agile HR systems team and will be responsible for the overall design, development, and technical support of the global HR IT integrations.
The Workday Integration Engineer is expected to have a deep subject matter expertise in Workday integrations and implementation tools -- Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Report Writer, Calculated fields, and Workday Studio. Prior experience in implementing payroll and time-off integrations is also required for this position. The engineer must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as they will be engaging with non-technical and technical stakeholders daily to deliver high quality integrations.
Day-to-day responsibilities may include the following:
* Collaborate with the HR organization in the planning and execution of integration development projects.
* Maintain the health of the core HR integrations, in terms of quality of the program code and operational effectiveness.
* Plan and execute releases, making sure all deployment and rollback steps are documented & tested, and plans are coordinated.
* Support integrations between tools, with an emphasis on optimizing performance and enforcing single source of truth design principles.
This position can sit fully remote in the U.S. working EST hours, but the preference is to be local to one of the following locations - Boston, Atlanta, London, or New Delhi.
Compensation
$55/hr-85/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including geographic location, skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of Workday integration engineering experience within an enterprise environment
Expertise in Workday integrations and implementation tools Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Report Writer, Calculated fields, and Workday Studio
Hands-on experience using Workday Connectors (Core, PECI, PICOF, etc.) to build payroll integrations
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Bachelors degree in computer science or related field * Experience with agile methodologies null
