This position involves working directly with high-net-worth clients on sophisticated estate planning and probate matters. Duties
Collaborate with clients and colleagues to move estate planning matters efficiently toward resolution.Document discussions, decisions, and time entries in an electronic case management system.Draft estate planning documents, including correspondence, court petitions, and customized provisions.Lead client meetings and provide strategy recommendations.Represent clients at hearings and legal proceedings.Review client issues, analyze options, and determine the best course of action.Delegate tasks to paralegals and legal assistants and review their work.Requirements
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in estate planning and probate law.Excellent communication skills, especially in emotionally sensitive situations.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Self-sufficient and dependable, with an aptitude for managing complex cases independently.Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications
Active member of the State Bar.Skills
Proficiency in drafting estate planning documents and managing probate cases.Strong interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach.Tech-savvy, with experience in electronic case management systems.Ability to work collaboratively and independently as needed.Benefits
