Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm seeks a motivated Litigation Associate Attorney to join its team in Calabasas, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience in both negotiating and litigating personal injury cases. This position offers an opportunity for professional growth and hands-on involvement in the litigation process, with the autonomy to handle cases and settle matters independently.Duties:Prepare legal pleadings and court documents.Conduct and defend depositions.Assist in trial preparation and strategy development.Review and manage case files from inception to completion.Meet with clients to discuss case status and strategies.Oversee discovery responses and related legal documents.Participate in all phases of the litigation process, including negotiations and settlements.Requirements:1-2 years of personal injury litigation experience preferred.Willingness to learn, adapt, and work in a fast-paced environment.Strong work ethic and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active membership in the California State Bar.Skills:Experience in litigation, including depositions and discovery.Strong legal research, writing, and organizational abilities.Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.Strong client relationship management.Location:Calabasas, CA (In-person)401(k) plan.Paid time off and paid holidays.Referral program.Opportunities for growth and development.This role offers a dynamic work environment with a strong emphasis on professional development and a team-oriented culture.
