Litigation/Employment Law Attorney

A law firm seeks a driven and dynamic attorney with a focus on litigation or employment law. This hybrid position, based in Sacramento, CA, offers the opportunity to join a collaborative legal team specializing in employment and business litigation. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is passionate about providing effective legal solutions and is eager to grow professionally in a supportive work environment.Duties:Manage and oversee a variety of employment and business litigation cases.Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials as necessary.Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex litigation strategies and case development.Maintain consistent communication with clients, offering legal guidance and updates on case status.Handle case management tasks, including discovery, motions, and trial preparation.Requirements:Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Excellent legal research and writing abilities.Ability to work well in a team-oriented and diverse environment.Experience in case management, depositions, law and motion practice, or trial is a plus, but not required.Junior attorneys are encouraged to apply.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active member in good standing with the California State Bar.Skills:Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Capable of managing multiple cases and deadlines effectively.Proactive problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative legal team.This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of litigation and employment law matters, providing an excellent foundation for a successful legal career within a highly respected law firm.
