Qualifications:Education:Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Finance, a licensed Clinical discipline, or a related discipline Required
Experience:7 years experience in Healthcare, IT or Financial sectors Required6 years data modeling, report development or data warehouse design Required6 years Experience in Enterprise Data Warehousing /Datalakes architectural assessment, product roadmap, hardware/software acquisition Required
Responsibilities:Job Summary:As a member of the Data Management team, the Data Architect Supervisor designs, develops, and deploys Enterprise Data Warehousing (EDW) solutions. In addition, this role analyzes data, performs Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) source to target mapping operations, develops data models, interacts with staff, provides guidance, mentors, trains and participates in on-call rotations facilitating off-hour work functions in support of incidents, upgrades, patches, and project task fulfillment. Plan projects, manage project dependencies, perform upgrade/maintenance work, and release management work.
Designs, develops, deploys and troubleshoots Enterprise Data Warehousing (EDW) solutions, database tables, views, stored procedures, data marts that store data from various source systems and ties those together. Performs EDW/ Datalakes architectural assessment, product roadmap, hardware/software acquisition justification.
Implements data models that follow a Late-Binding design methodology, Datalakes and Data Warehousing best practices. Models data from source systems and designs ETL to bring data into the Data Warehouse.
Creates Metrics, Patient Registries and Predictive Models to be applied to the DataLkes/Data Warehouse data per clinical and business rules. Oversees processes to ensure data accuracy within the data warehouse/ Datalakes environments.
Plans upgrades or maintenance projects, designs architecture and identifies project dependencies. Creates requests and manages dependencies within IT. Vendor relationship experience to oversee agreements with vendors that supply things to your company.
Communicates, prioritizes and responds promptly based on severity levels to needs of the customer. Proactively or timely recognizes opportunities for service recovery and acts to resolve issues.
Completes Governance & project job assignments to ensure achievement of established project milestones.
Performs other duties as assigned. Be available after hours as part of the escalation process serving as subject matter expert for integration & interoperability issues.
Assists the director by serving as the team lead for day-to-day operational oversight to include ensuring adequate staffing levels, providing performance feedback, and assisting in the coaching and development of junior team to ensure employee productivity, quality of work, and alignment of goals with our mission, vision, and values. Ensure compliance with all policies, financial stewardship by being accountable for the financial integrity around development and maintenance of department budget.
Supports and collaborates with other teams/management on any ad-hoc requests, data research, analyses or provides regular reports. Builds collaborative relationships with IT teams, business, and clinical partners.
