Overview: The Director of Project Management will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of all electrical engineering projects. This role requires a seasoned project management professional with a deep understanding of project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex projects, leading teams, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project managers, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to succeed. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Oversee the development of project plans, including defining project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines. Ensure all projects are executed in accordance with company standards, industry best practices, and client requirements. Develop and manage project budgets, including cost estimation, allocation, and control. Monitor project financial performance, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions as needed. Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, providing insights into project profitability and financial health. Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders. Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to improve project outcomes. Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Masters degree or PMP certification is preferred. PMP certification is highly desirable. Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in project management within the electrical engineering or construction industry. Strong understanding of project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Proven experience in leading and managing project teams. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
