Milestone Centers, a subsidiary of Partners For Quality Inc., is a nonprofit, community-based human services agency supporting individuals with behavioral health challenges and intellectual & developmental disabilities in communities throughout Western Pennsylvania. Our Agency oversees 20 residential settings, two outpatient offices, three adult training facilities, a prevocational enterprise program, a consumer drop-in center, habilitation services, and two Health Care Quality Units in Butler and Warren, which train professionals in 18 counties. Milestone Centers has earned certification from the Sanctuary Institute for providing trauma-informed care.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the supervision of the Peer Support Specialists and Supervisor of the Chain of Hope to maintain state licensure within agency budgetary constraints while maintaining quality of service to consumers.

Utilizes Sanctuary Model's shared values, the Sanctuary Seven Commitments, and tools to conduct daily tasks and maintains a strong understanding of trauma and its impact on individuals, organizations, and communities. Manages day to day operations of the Peer Support Program. Provide regular supervision to the Supervisor of Chain of Hope. Provides financial oversight, budget development for Peer Support Program and Chain of Hope Peer Drop-in Center. Act as a liaison between the Peer Support Program and the other agency departments and with Community Care Behavioral Health. Identifies and evaluates opportunities for stabilization and growth of the Peer Support Program and the Chain of Hope. Participates in professional organizations relating to the Peer Support Program. Creates an annual training plan for the Peer Support Program. Responsible for the auditing of record content and documentation of services to ensure compliance with state regulations. Identifies process problems in the delivery of care and assists to identify and implement solutions. Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED and four years of mental health direct service experience that may include Peer Support Specialist; and has completed the Certified Peer Specialist supervisory training curriculum approved by the Department;

OR Bachelor's degree in sociology, social work, psychology, gerontology, anthropology, political science, history, criminal justice, theology, counseling, education or a related field from a program that is accredited by an agency recognized by the United States Department of Education (USDOE) or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), or an equivalent degree from a foreign college or university approved by the USDOE; two years of mental health direct service experience that may include Peer Support Specialist; and has completed the Certified Peer Support supervisory training cur approved by the Department;

OR

Mental Health Professional who has completed the Department approved Certified Peer Support supervisory training

Two years of management experience Completion of Certified Peer Support training, preferred Act 33 and Act 34 clearance and FBI background check, if applicable First Aid & CPR certification Valid PA Driver's license

Minimum Compensation

USD $50,000.00/Yr. Maximum Compensation

USD $55,000.00/Yr.
