Milestone Centers, a subsidiary of Partners For Quality Inc., is a nonprofit, community-based human services agency supporting individuals with behavioral health challenges and intellectual & developmental disabilities in communities throughout Western Pennsylvania. Milestone Centers has earned certification from the Sanctuary Institute for providing trauma-informed care.

Responsibilities POSITION SUMMARY:

The Director of Compliance and Quality Assurance is accountable to the Milestone Executive Director. This individual will assist in the planning, organization, direction, and control of quality assurance, compliance, and improvements. This position functions as a change agent to eliminate replication of functions and processes within programs. This position oversees and manages the Behavioral Health, Drug and Alcohol, and Intellectual/Developmental/Autism Program Compliance and Quality Assurance Programs for Milestone and includes: Developing and maintaining agency compliance and quality assurance policies, procedures, and practices. Contributing to executive reports for Board of Directors meetings and appropriately advising of the current rules, regulations, and standards as stated by Administrative Entities and Regulatory Agencies as needed. Monitoring and communicating compliance and quality assurance efforts/results to Milestone Executive Director, Milestone Executive Staff, Milestone Supervisory Staff, and Partners For Quality Executive Director of Compliance and Quality Assurance, as appropriate. Demonstrating and reflecting a commitment to the mission and values of Milestone by serving others with respect, dignity, and compassion. This position will be engaged in activities of a confidential nature, including but not limited to participating in reviews and evaluations of internal examinations, evaluations, and self-evaluations of the policies, practices, and procedures of this organization. This position is expected to receive and/or become privy to information of a confidential nature, including but not limited to financial statements, trade secrets, strategic plans, contracts with private parties, and other documents and statistics which go to the issue of compliance with policies, procedures, statutes, and regulations. It is understood this position will adhere to all policies and procedures and will be held to a high standard of confidentiality. Providing leadership of Agency quality assurance functions. Performing other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree is required. Graduate-level studies in Public Health Administration, Health Administration, Organizational Leadership, Social Work, or similar field preferred. Prefers a minimum of five (5) years of experience in healthcare, administrative, governmental, or insurance oversight organization, which includes demonstrated leadership skills. Familiarity with operational, financial, quality assurance, compliance, and human resources procedures, regulations, and best practices is necessary. Valid PA Driver’s License. Act 33 and 34 Clearances and FBI background check required.
