This role involves aggressively representing consumers in cases against car manufacturers and dealers. The position offers an opportunity to take on significant trial responsibilities, including first chair roles in jury and bench trials. Develop trial strategy and take first chair responsibility in trials.Conduct complex legal research and oversee case prosecution.Interface with specialized outside counsel on behalf of the firm and its clients.Draft and argue motions and oppositions on complex legal issues.Conduct depositions of witnesses, experts, and key corporate representatives.Collaborate on policy improvements and client communication strategies.Ensure timely resolution of legal issues as they arise.Requirements
Minimum of 10 years of litigation and trial experience.Proven track record with multiple jury verdicts and trial experience as first chair.Experience in Arbitration, Coordinated Proceedings, and Multi-District Litigation preferred.Proficiency in MS Office, timekeeping software, and client file management.Bilingual in Spanish is preferred but not required.Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.Certifications
Licensed to practice law in California.Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational, time management, and decision-making abilities.Demonstrable leadership and client advocacy skills.Ability to manage complex legal cases and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Benefits
