A prestigious law firm located in Chula Vista, CA is seeking a qualified Family Law Attorney. This full-time, on-site position offers the opportunity to handle a variety of family law matters, including client representation in court and management of all aspects of the legal process. The role requires a strong legal background in family law, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage a caseload independently.Duties:
Represent clients in family law cases, including court appearances, settlement conferences, and negotiations.Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery, trial briefs, and other case-related materials.Conduct legal research to support case strategies.Manage statutory deadlines for case filings and submissions.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and judges.Use legal software and case management systems such as MyCase, Clio, LexisNexis, DissoMaster, and Microsoft Office.Ensure timely and accurate billing, meeting a minimum of 30 billable hours weekly.Formulate case strategies and identify potential conflicts to provide resolutions.Requirements:
Licensed to practice law in California and good standing with the California Bar Association.At least 1 year of experience as an attorney, with specific experience handling family law cases independently.Familiarity with California family law legislation and appellate decisions.Proficiency in legal drafting and managing case-related tasks.Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:

Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients, colleagues, and the judiciary.Proficient in legal research and case management software such as MyCase, Clio, LexisNexis, DissoMaster, and Microsoft Office.Being bilingual in English and Spanish is highly desirable.Exceptional organizational and time management skills to handle multiple cases effectively.
