This person will be asked to run a variety of custom reports
and provide financial insight as needed. A deep understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and the accounting software WorkBook is a must.Key ResponsibilitiesAll bookkeeping and transaction recording for business and tax purposes.Tracking expenditures and employee expenses.Support on accounts payable and issue 1099.Ensuring all credit card transactions are recorded and reconciled on a monthly basis.Corporate card management- handling fraud, monitoring limits, monitoring total balanceConducting bank reconciliations.Own entire month close cycle including intercompany entries, preparations of journal entries, reconciliations for Balance Sheet and Income Statement accounts, and calculation of WIP and COGsEnforcing internal financial controls.Managing and running payroll.Managing 401(k)- new hire setup, 5500 reporting, tracking changes to employee contributionsProducing weekly financial reports for management.Creating and managing a cashflow forecast.Assist in any audit preparations.Compile month close packets for Senior LeadershipAssisting the CFO with other tasks as necessary.The salary for this role is $100,000 and is based on experience, responsibilities of the position, subject matter expertise and is location specific.RequirementsWhat you’ll need:5-7 years experience in an Accounting/Accounts Payable role, preferably in an agency or similar sized companyInterest in learning about starting, managing, and/or growing a businessMust have EXCELLENT written and verbal English language skillsProactive team player; accountable, responsible, and organizedProblem solver, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail with outstanding multitasking and organizational skillsMust be highly skilled with Microsoft Office Suite, especially ExcelBenefitsWhat we bring to the table:We want you to be part of a dynamic and creative team.
