Corporate Director of Human Resources
ManufacturingWe are looking for a Corporate Director of HR for our client, a large manufacturer,
that is directly responsible for Payroll, Benefits, Compensation and Corporate Human Resources. This role is crucial in developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs that support organizational goals and objectives.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of senior HR experience in a medium-large manufacturing environment
Experience overseeing Payroll, Benefits, Compensation & Corporate HR.
Ability to create systems for efficiencies
15+ years of progressive HR experience with a minimum of 3 years in leadership
Strong presentation skills
Ability to manage and motivate teams
Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
In-depth knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
Ability to remain calm in stressful situations, flex as necessary, effectively handle multiple, concurrent demands and appropriately prioritize responsibilities.
Ability to exercise sound judgment, seek to understand and clearly communicate decisions.
Knowledge of HR systems, HRIS experience and/or experience implementing a Human Capital Management system (HCM) a plus.
EDUCATION:
Bachelors degree in HR, Business Administration or related field
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Include:
Work closely with the Vice President, Human Resources to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that are aligned with Kaisers vision, Values, and overall business objectives.
Lead and manage the Corporate HR team and partner with plant HR teams providing prompt guidance, support, and development opportunities. Fosters a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Manage (3) leaders with teams responsible for HR policies, corporate succession planning, performance management, compensation, payroll, and benefits. Oversees the strategy, design, and implementation of our comprehensive total rewards program to ensure competitiveness and alignment with organizational goals, objectives and core Values.
Manage employee relations including but not limited to conflict resolution, exit interview process, corporate In Touch investigations, disciplinary actions, and overall employee engagement.
Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations through appropriate guidance, policies, and procedures.
Responsible for HR administration including but not limited to the visa process, other immigration requirements, corporate HR budget, vendor invoice management, required HR audits, announcement process, and the administration of our Affirmative Action Program.
Partner with Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development and Labor Relations leaders to support our HR strategic objectives.
Proactive strategy development related to the corporate candidate and employee experience.
