TSC is seeking a
Facilities Operations Manager
based in the
DC Metro Area . This role responsible for overseeing the strategic management and operations of all company facilities, ensuring that they align with corporate objectives, support productivity, and meet safety, regulatory, and sustainability standards. The Facilities Manager develops high-level policies for building maintenance, space planning, and overall facility operations to optimize efficiency and resource utilization. This role ensures that the physical infrastructure of the organization is a competitive advantage, balancing cost management, safety, and compliance with regulations. This role can be hybrid based with the ability to be on site in our Crystal City, VA office as needed.Responsibilities to Anticipate will Include:Develop and implement strategic facility management plans, overseeing acquisition, construction, renovation, and space utilization to align with business goals, operational efficiency, and employee well-being.Review, negotiate, and manage facility leases, ensuring terms are favorable, compliant, and aligned with the company's operational needs and budget.Lead the development and implementation of facility maintenance strategies, including preventive maintenance, corrective repairs, and operational efficiencies.Ensure all company facilities are compliant with health, safety, and environmental regulations.Oversee major infrastructure systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and ensure they are properly maintained and/or have services plans to accommodate this requirement.Develop and manage the facilities budget, ensuring that all capital projects, maintenance, and operational activities are executed within financial constraints.Establish and manage relationships with external vendors and contractors, including those providing maintenance, construction, and other facility-related services.Ensure facility safety and security by adhering to OSHA and fire safety standards, implementing risk management strategies, and leading emergency preparedness through regular drills and staff training.Required Qualifications:Bachelors degree in facilities management, engineering, business administration, or a related field and 7 or more years of progressive industry experience.US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.Successful track record in prior leadership roles.Preferred Qualifications:Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Facility Management Professional (FMP), or LEED Accredited Professional (AP) certifications strongly preferred.Expertise in building operations, lease negotiations, space planning, project management, vendor negotiation, financial oversight, and sustainability initiatives.Knowledge of building systems, safety regulations, and facility management software.Ability to clearly communicate with teams, vendors, and senior management.TSC Benefits:
