System Manager of Pharmacy Contracting and Sourcing

This position is remote with some occasional business travel.Job Summary:The System Manager, Pharmacy Contracting and Sourcing is a member of the UVMMC Pharmacy Leadership Team. The System Manager participates in the development and execution of the Network department strategic and operational plan. The System Manager will provide leadership, direction, and operational planning to advance the sourcing of medications and contracting operations within the department of pharmacy to enhance care of patients within UVMMC. The System Manager will provide oversight of the pharmacy contacting and sourcing teams. The System Manager will work collaboratively with all the Directors of Pharmacy Services.
Education:A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from an ACPE-accredited college or university is required. Pharmacist licensure in Vermont or New York is required.
PGY-1 residency or equivalent experience
PGY-2 residency in Health System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership preferred
Board Certification preferred
Experience:Minimum of 5 years as a pharmacist with at least 3 years progressive leadership experience at the supervisor level and above with increasing responsibility for the management and supervision of pharmacy personnel with emphasis on pharmacy contracting, sourcing, pharmaceutical expense, leadership and management of change, project management, pharmacy compliance, pharmacy education programs, practice analytics, data storage and retrieval, and operational policies and procedures.
