Summary:

The VAS Assembly Lead performs a number of tasks in the assembly area supporting internal and external customer requirements. Tasks include but are not limited to repetitive and moderately complex rework, product testing, block coding, and inspection processes.

Primary Responsibilities:Administers and operates the organization's warehouses, including processing, packaging and storage of supplies, materials and equipmentEnsures execution of requested assembly and programming work within the departmentUses verbal and written instruction for kit assembly, rework, testing, block code, and inspection of productLifts, unpacks, tests, repacks, and documents resultsLifts, unpacks, adds or removes materials, repacks, and documents resultsReports work status to VAS ManagerProvides support as requested VAS ManagerMaintains cleanliness of assemblyHelps with the packing and taping of boxes of productsMoves material with pallet jack or on cartSupports safety initiatives and follows all safety guidelinesPays close attention to detail to ensure the processes are done correctlyMust count parts and product accuratelyUse a computer to perform testing/flashing of productsUse test fixtures as directedPrint labels using any applicable programUnderstand, support and execute all work in a safe manner using the established procedures, methods and safe working requirementsImplements and maintains department policies and standardsPerform any other related duties as required or assignedOther Duties as assignedQualifications:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceMust be familiar in working with electronic devices2 years of experience using Microsoft applications (i.e., Excel, Word, PPT, etc.).Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
