Job Summary: The Grove Hotel Shuttle Driver ensures guests receive safe, timely, and courteous transportation. The driver is also responsible for assisting with luggage, providing local information, and ensuring the shuttle vehicle is maintained and clean. Exceptional customer service and knowledge of the local area are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Transport Guests:

Safely drive hotel guests to and from designated locations according to all three hotel schedules. (The Grove Hotel, Courtyard by Marriott, and Hotel 43)Assist with Luggage:

Help guests with loading and unloading their luggage from the shuttle.Ensure Guest Comfort:

Provide a welcoming and courteous environment, always ensuring guest comfort and safety.Communicate with Guests:

Provide information about the hotel, local attractions, dining options, and other amenities.Vehicle Maintenance:

Ensure the shuttle is clean, fueled, and well-maintained, reporting any issues to management.Safety Adherence:

Follow all traffic laws, hotel policies, and safety regulations while driving.Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate logs of vehicle use, including mileage and destinations.Coordination with Front Desk:

Communicate with the front desk to manage shuttle requests and coordinate schedules.Requirements

Valid driver's license and clean driving recordKnowledge of local area, streets, and attractionsStrong customer service and communication skillsAbility to lift and carry luggageFlexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidaysAbility to sit for extended periods while drivingAbility to lift to 50 lbsAbility to walk and stand for extended periods when assisting guests
