Under general supervision, the Recreation/Community Services Driver performs work in the operation of a vehicle to ensure the safe transportation of passengers to and from various destinations.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about serving the community, has excellent problem solving and navigational skills and a keen sense of direction, including knowledge of mapping software. The successful incumbent with have experience in the operation of a passenger van or bus. Additionally, the successful candidate will embody the Department's mission and vision as well as the qualities of a

This recruitment will result in an eligibility list, which will be used to fill full-time and part-time vacancies within this classification. If part-time opportunities arise, part-time employees may be scheduled to work up to 29 hours per week and are not eligible to participate in the City's health insurance or retirement plans.
The current vacancies are for one (1) full-time Recreation and Community Services Driver and four (4) part-time Recreation and Community Services Driver Trainees.
