BASIC PURPOSE

The function of the e-Commerce Specialist is to assist in facilitating the overall mission of The Salvation Army through the programs offered at the Reno Corps under the direction of the Director of Operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESCreate and optimize product listings to enhance visibility and drive sales.Evaluate items and list according to industry standards.Ensure proper packaging prior to shipment.Maintain records and update computer spreadsheets.Keep a current inventory of needed supplies.Contribute to the team effort or program participant guidance.Other duties as assigned by supervisor.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS

Experienced in identifying collectible items for resale.Advanced computer and internet skills, with knowledge of MS Office.Organization and the ability to work under time constraints a must.Essential to be a team player and take directions.Creative writing and entry level photography skills.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent.Must be 21 years or older.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or sometimes continuous basisAbility to grasp, push, and/or pull objectsAbility to reach overheadAbility to operate telephoneAbility to lift a minimum of 50 poundsAbility to operate a computerAbility to process written, visual, and/or verbal informationAbility to stand for eight (8) hours per day
