About the Role
Our client is seeking an FP&A Manager to be a critical partner to their leadership team. This role will provide financial insights that drive strategic decision-making and will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of their organization by analyzing financial data, developing forecasts, and optimizing their financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models and forecasts.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including variance analysis and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data.
- Support the budgeting process, including developing budgets, tracking performance, and analyzing variances.
- Value-Based Care:
- Understand and analyze the financial implications of value-based care contracts and performance metrics.
- Develop financial models to assess the impact of different payment models and risk-sharing arrangements.
- Work with clinical and operational teams to identify opportunities to improve financial performance under value-based care.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
- Implement new financial systems and tools to enhance data accuracy and reporting.
- Develop and maintain strong internal controls to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Strategic Partnership:
- Partner with leadership to develop and execute strategic financial plans.
- Provide financial guidance and support to business units to optimize performance.
- Communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely to non-financial stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA or MBA preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling tools (e.g., Prophix, Hyperion).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS.
Location: Vancouver, WA - hybrid flexible role
Salary: $125,000-145,000
