Our Riverview site (8813 HWY 41 South | Riverview, FL 33578)We are currently seeking a Capital Project Engineer (II, III or Sr). The Capital Project Engineer will manage a portfolio of projects mostly consisting of asset sustaining. Tasks relating to this job include preliminary or detailed project scoping, engineering design, scheduling, cost estimating, procurement, supervision, execution, and construction management.What you’ll do?Project execution and management of capital projects of varying size and complexityResponsible for safety, scope, schedule, budget and qualityResponsible for contractor management and driving positive safety cultureProject administration including project approval, reporting schedule updatesTechnical design of projects and oversight of third-party engineeringCost control including developing estimates and budgets and providing monthly forecasting for projectsSchedule development and reportingEngineering design (developing engineering work packages for projects)Construction oversight in an industrial environmentDepartment initiatives (non-project specific engineering, project management process definition)Site and company initiatives to support safety, production, expansion and maintenance.Technical/personal development and coaching others (contractors, trades, training courses, etc.)What you’ll need:A bachelor’s degree in engineering is required, Mechanical engineer degree preferred.Broad engineering and construction knowledge in all disciplines is an assetComputer Skills in MS Office Suite are requiredEngineering Software skills requiredHighly Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage competing prioritiesWe will consider a lower Engineer Designation if candidate has fewer years of experienceMust be able to work in a Chemical Operating Facility environmentEngineer II2+ years of Engineering experienceDemonstrated project management experience with strong problem-solving skillsEngineer III4+ years of Engineering experienceDemonstrated project management experience with strong problem-solving skillsRelevant construction management experience in an industrial environmentExperience delivering projects in an operating industrial plant or brownfield environmentDemonstrate strengths in soft skills related to people management, leadership and written/verbal communications.Engineer Senior8+ years of Engineering experienceDemonstrated project management experience with strong problem-solving skillsRelevant construction management experience in an industrial environmentExperience delivering projects in an operating industrial plant or brownfield environment.Demonstrate strengths in soft skills related to people management, leadership and written/verbal communicationsAbility to assist/supervise technical personnel and work independentlyBonus Points If You:Have experience using SAPHave an active PMP or another project-based certificationBenefits Offered by Mosaic:401k with a company match and annual company contributionsPaid holidays, vacation and sick leaveTuition reimbursementA robust benefits package which includes Medical, Dental, and Vision insuranceOptional HSA plan with company match9/80 scheduleMosaic is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values the strength diversity brings to the workplace.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status.Mosaic participates in the US E-Verify program.Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.We Help the World Grow the Food it Needs - Apply today and join our team!
