Summary You will serve as a SECRETARY (OA) in the MARINE CORPS WARFIGHTING LABORATORY of MARINE CORPS COMBAT DEVELOPMENT CMD. Responsibilities You will analyze administrative and procedural changes contemplated by the Chief of Staff. You will execute office secretarial operations on your own initiative and recommend/facilitate changes for efficiency or as required for compliance with authoritative directives. You will review correspondence for the Commanding General (CG) ensuring it is fully staffed and is neatly and completely prepared to include typographical and grammatical accuracy, correctness of format and general appearance. You will serve as the command's protocol subject matter expert. You will perform a variety of other clerical duties to include searching for and securing information from a variety of sources for the supervisor's use. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-8 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing procedural in clerical and administrative support duties to include processing and routing incoming and outgoing materials (correspondence, reports, memorandum, etc.), setting up meetings, maintain calendars, and preparing correspondence and reports.
