Credit/Distressed Investment Analyst

Q Investments, a multi-billion dollar private investment firm in Fort Worth, Texas is interested in immediately hiring a top junior financial professional to join our investment team as an Investment Analyst. This individual will work in an entry-level role with a team of other investment professionals which handle both our private equity and public markets credit-related investments.Position Description:• Assist Senior Partner on an existing PE investment• Assist senior PM’s with researching and monitoring new and existing investments• Research and analyze macro trends in the high-yield and leveraged loan asset classes• Generate new investment ideas along with senior PM’s for potential investment• Manage various processes that help us identify which securities to buy or sell• Screen for and review new investment opportunities independently• Develop and maintain various methods in understanding relative value across the high-yield and leveraged loan universe• Calculate and monitor portfolio analyses to understand overall fund beta• Monitor major periodicals daily for news and other information that may impact our investments• Manage and coordinate various routine tasks with interns and participate in mentoring programRequirements:• 1-3 years of experience with a top I-banking, PE, Hedge Fund or Consulting Firm• Bachelor’s Degree with excellent academic credentials• Open to travel as necessary for existing PE investments• Candidate must be willing to make a minimum 2 year commitment to the roleAbout the Q Family Office:Established in 1994, the Q Family Office is an organization that combines a nearly 30 year history with a deep entrepreneurial spirit.
