POSITION OVERVIEW

Fidelity National Financial (FNF) is looking for an Auditor to join our Corporate Audit division. This role will be responsible for auditing independent agents by analyzing controls and accuracies of three-way escrow account reconciliations, reviewing and testing escrow accounts to ensure numerical accuracy, understanding all components of a three-way reconciliation, and investigating shortages and adjustments.

LOCATIONThe territory for this role is New York/New Jersey and candidate must live in one of these two states. Majority of the role is remote with some onsite work required.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Reviews and documents closed real estate files, including disbursement testing, rate testing and timely document recording.Organizes and plans monthly audit schedule for both onsite and remote audits.Ensures reconciliation reports are accurately reconciled.Embraces and works in a paperless audit process which includes a cloud-based audit program, electronic document review, tick-marking and document upload.Effectively communicates with agents regarding audit results, answers questions, and provides solutions.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Associates and/or bachelor's degree in accounting or another related field.Requires 3+ years of applicable work experience.Desire to achieve professional certifications (CFE, CIA, etc.). Study materials and fees reimbursed by FNF upon completion.Strong written and verbal communication.PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Knowledge of reconciliation software solutions (Rynoh, SoftPro, Qualia, etc.).Strong skills in understanding/reviewing three-way escrow account reconciliations including understanding all supporting reports (bank balance, book balance and trial balance).General real estate closing process knowledge, including familiarity with title insurance.Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, PDF Xchange Editor, and the capacity to learn a cloud-based audit programs.Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks as well as being self-motivated.Ability to understand and articulate concerns during the audit process.

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $70,000 - $85,000 based on location and job-related factors such as skillset and experience. The base salary is one component of the total rewards package offered to our employees, including insurance (medical/dental/vision/life/disability), matching 401(k) plan and matching employee stock purchase plan.
