Associate or Patent Agent
to join their
Product Design & User Interface Patent Prosecution Practice Group(link removed) This position is open to all firm offices, with a preference for
Atlanta, Chicago, Washington, DC, Houston, Denver, Kansas City, Phoenix, or St. Louis (link removed)>Candidate Profile:
JD
from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record (for Associate candidates).
Bar Admission in Georgia, Illinois, District of Columbia, Texas, Colorado, Missouri, or Arizona, as applicable (for Associate candidates).
Admission to the USPTO
is required for both Associate and Patent Agent candidates.
2+ years
of relevant patent preparation and prosecution experience.
Degree in physics, electrical engineering, or computer science required.
Strong law firm, engineering, or industry experience, with superb writing and communication skills.
Preferred experience in one or more of the following :
Software-related technologies
Artificial intelligence-related technologies
IoT, networking, and related technologies
Quantum technologies
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and prosecute patent applications related to product design and user interface technologies.
Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys and agents to provide innovative patent prosecution services.
Engage with clients to advise on patent strategy and ensure successful patent filings in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
